The biggest summer shoe trends for 2019… I’ve been loving wearing as few heels as possible, I have collected so many different coloured sneakers. The sneaker fashion isn’t going anywhere too quickly either which is fab but they do from time to time change the look of the sneaker.
It’s nearly time to think summer shoes, sandals, wedges… what’s in? This is what you will be seeing and it’s not high heel – yippee!
Flirty Slips Ons ;
The kitten-heel mule is a must-have when it comes to achieving ’90s style with a feminine edge. Slip on a pair and step up a white tee and jeans for summer nights or rotate them in with your summer wedding dress circuit.
Sport Sandals Thicken Out ;
The tourist sandal is getting a sporty upgrade this summer, with wide straps, plastic and velcro fastenings, and chunky soles. These bulky sandals are perfect for everything from exploring new cities to making the commute home all the more comfortable.
Get Strung Out ;
Spring’s most popular sandal has stuck around for summer. The barely there strappy sandal has taken over Instagram feeds and the feet of the Fashion Week fleet, making it the shoe to beat.
Espadrilles Hit the Floor ;
You know the wedge espadrille well, but have you considered the shoe’s original form, a comfortable flat. Originally made from twisting rope into a flat sole, the classic Iberian shoe has gotten the ultimate modern twist this season thanks to contrast stitching, cork details, and lace-up straps. The best part? You don’t have to spend your entire paycheck to try out the new look.
So Peeps, which ones will you wear?
As I have been writing this I have been thinking about my summer shoes that are stored away waiting for the time I dare to bare my feet, actually I have some of these styles from years ago already amongst my collection. Truth be known I should have probably up cycled them some time ago but I just must have known they would come back in.
There’s really something for everyone in this line-up.
My Spring/Summer shopping days are available for booking so drop me a line, if it’s time to book in.
Happy Spring days my friends,
