If you are not 100% satisfied with your new gear, follow the instructions below so that I can help you get hold of that perfect item.
Please note – regrettably I cannot offer exchanges or refunds on SALE items. This applies to both New Zealand and International orders.
Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
There are just a few simple rules in order to return or exchange a product with Activewear by Johanna-May!
- Products must be returned within 7 days.
- Bodysuits must be tried on over underwear, and still have all adhesive labels on.
- Products must not be worn or washed, and be in original condition in original packaging.
- Original and/or Activewear by Johanna-May tags must remain attached.
- No items which have make-up marks will be accepted for exchange or return.
HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE GOODS – New Zealand
- Ensure all tags are intact and items are unworn as per the conditions above.
- Contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and notify me of your intended exchange or return.
- To post the item, you will need to purchase a prepaid plastic satchel at your local post office.
- Included the following items in your satchel:
- The items you wish to return/exchange
- The Johanna-May invoice
- Please hold onto the tracking number for your package once you have posted it
Goods returned are sent back to me at your cost, however if the product arrives to you damaged or incorrect we will pay for the return postage.
If it is agreed that I will pay for return postage within NZ, I will send a courier to collect your return. You will be notified when I have received your returned product, and my course of action from here, i.e.: I have sent you a different size/colour, I am processing your refund, or I may require more information. You will hear from me within 3 days of receiving your return.
HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE GOODS – for International orders
If you choose to return or exchange any items, please notify me after receiving your package via email on email@example.com
Please note, I do not offer free International returns or exchanges.
Any packages sent to me must have a valid international tracking number.
I cannot be held liable for any items lost in transit.
Please remember to indicate on the package that the items are intended “for exchange”. Without such notice, the package is at risk of attracting additional customs duties and taxes.
Please note – if you wish to make an exchange on any full priced items, I am happy to do so, as long as the stock is available. If the stock is not available, a credit note or refund will be offered as an alternative.

If I am unable to deliver the item you ordered, the item is faulty/damaged, or the item is not what you ordered, I will gladly refund you for the total amount of your purchase.
Refunds can only be credited back to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by me, however, please allow 14 days from the day you return the product for your account to be credited.
Important points to keep in mind:
- Please note: If a PO Box address is provided for shipping (throughout New Zealand), packages cannot be sent using a courier service. PO Box addresses can only be serviced using NZ Post. If you prefer for your Product to be delivered using a secure courier service, please provide a physical postal address. For international deliveries, packages can only be sent to physical postal addresses. No PO BOX addresses can be accepted for international orders.
- I do not offer any exchanges or refunds on SALE items. This applies to both New Zealand and International orders.
- Exchanges can only be made if the intended item is available.
