I was really thrilled when PAMU came into my Studio.  Finally a stylish, tasteful and timeless brand that is both affordable and hypoallergenic so fabulous for those with skin allergies.

PĀMU is a Māori owned and operated brand from New Zealand specialising in Hypoallergenic, non tarnish and water resistant jewellery. 

PĀMU was created to provide wahine (women) with timeless taonga (treasures). Each piece draws inspiration from the surroundings of the founders whānau’s turangawaewae (place of standing). Their jewellery is not only stylish but hypoallergenic and affordable. Their aim is to make luxury pieces affordable for everyone.

The jewellery pieces are a mix of traditional styles and current fashion trends. Pieces are either in the stainless steel or plated stainless steel in 18k gold.

Some of their pieces have beautiful pearls and other gems that can really glam up an outfit, some of my favourite pieces have removable gems so can be worn with or without looking like you have two separate pieces of jewellery,  take for example the Rosie earrings.

I love how pieces are also created to be able to layer with each other.  Take for example the Valentina necklace layered with the Wahine necklace.  Very feminine.
